sometimes yes its bad like when the kids are hitting each other with swords, they hurt! but sometimes the guns come in like a policeman kit, they have a badge, a hat, handcuffs as well as a gun and they can play police which I think is good. as long as the focus isn't on the violence ociated with these toys then I think they are ok.

Why does my hair break at the nape?

My hair is waist length and is naturally poker straight, i dont heat style it, use chemical products or anyything, i use a natural shampoo and conditioner, i have a satin pillowcase to stop hair breaking, i dont wash my hair everyday, but every other day, i dont comb it when its wet, etc basically i prettty much take care of my hair, i even take vitamins for it!! The only thing is i dyed it about a year and a half ago , so the bottom 3-4 cm are dyed, but even the undyed hair has breakage, its only like the very back layer, the rest of my hair does not break or even have split ends, the back of my hair like a very small portion is frizzy dry and has breakage, i hate it feels ugly and like straw. Is something up with my guinea pig?

She's taking a lot of little naps which i've heard is normal and most of the time she become alert after I say anything plus she's only deeply and comfortably asleep (eyes closed foot out) during the day once or twice. One weird thing is that she'll be lying down in her cage then i'll take her out and she'll start pop-corning like crazy and then she'll go to sleep again outside. She's about 2 1/2 pounds and has a really healthy coat. She's responsive and runs to her food bowl whenever I put anything in there (I give her her dry food, hay, fresh water and some veggies in the morning before I leave) and sometimes even stands on two feet or starts climbing the bars. ONe small thing that bugs me is that even though she's pear-shaped and her tummy's pretty chubby her 's kinda bony and I was just wondering why this is...oh and one last thing- she had a friends who died about 5 or six months ago and she seems pretty ok now but sometimes when I have to much to do and can't play with her she looks a little bored and starts sleeping but I don't really want to get her a new friend because she's sorta become adjusted to having the whole cage to herself plus I'm leaving for school in a few years and wouldn't really want to get another baby (especially if they don't like each other) so I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for that :)

Whats the difference between causal body, astral body, and soul ?

It is my understanding in Spiritism that the astral body is an intermediary "body" , it is not entirely immaterial, so it has substance of some form , but it is not as ethereal as the soul, which transcends the material altogether. I think of it this way, my actual body is animated by my soul THROUGH my astral body. I have found that through deep meditation (opened eyes meditation) I can see my astral body (in spiritism, we call Peri-spirit) and with enough exercise I have achieved the same results with less and less effort. It is the most beautiful experience, to appreciate with understanding and personal experience that we are not merely a collection of organs responding to neuron commands resulting from exterior stimuli, we are so much more.

The orthopaedic surgeon that we saw today told us that my sons knee needed surgery. This is a total shock because my son and I don't believe it's that bad! He just twisted in during a routine running play in football practice. I agree that teachers are a valuable service to the country and do deserve a pay rise above inflation, but I think that striking is rather childish way to achieve it. Pulling a stunt like this now is very bad timing and could cause considerable disruption to learning towards exams. I have further objection in that the strike is going ahead despite a turnout of just 30% in the ballot, with 3 in four voting for strike. This amounts to just 23% of members of the NUT being in favour, which does not by any standards give a proper mandate for strike action to be taken. Many teachers at my school feel pushed into the strike by other NUT members, and some are scheduling extra lessons at lunchtimes to make up for it. I am interested to hear teachers' opinions...

20 month old preemie... Sensory Integration???

My 20 month old preemie isn't walking yet due to very low tone on her left leg and hip so holding up her body weight is difficult....she's in PT and will do it for her therapist for up to 30 seconds at a time. The problem is she has a terrible fear of letting go and always needs something in front of her while standing or has to at least lean onto something or hold on one handed. She, too, doesn't want to bear weight onto her feet when you put her down, but lately has been doing OK with this when she has shoes on. She does well with a push toy though. She, too, doesn't know how to suck out of a straw (only tried once since I didn't know that kids should have that down by now) and really favors her left side; however, is a left handed eater. Her pediatrician recommended OT to come out and look at her and maybe get some sensory integration going for her fear of falling and getting her on a balance ball. What say you? Has anyone experienced this with their kids?

Is this fraud and what kind of trouble could she be in?

So my brother is incarcerated for and he recently asked me if I could check his credit just to see what it says before he gets out. He is currently married but filed for divorce over 3 years ago and is in the processes of finalizing it right now. So after I did a credit report and a people seacrh on my brother...we were able to see that his wife that he is dovorcing has opened up accounts while he has been incarcerated in his name without his knowledge or permission and has allowed them to go to collections. We were also able to find out that she currently using his name at her current address for utilities and phone connection. He is going to report all this since he did not give permission for any of it. We were wondering what kind of trouble can she get in?...Were in California by the way...

Actually, try to have a dinner-style lunch (steak and big salads). Snack only on nuts, raisins, etc. and drink lots of water. Getting your waterworks going really helps. What to do in this situation?

This past weekend I was invited to a yacht birthday party of an acquaintance and she allowed me to bring couple guests, whom she had never met. The yacht party was open bar and everyone got drunk. One of my friends apparently threw up on the boat and now she is saying she has a cleaning fee and wants us to pay. I'm not sure what to do in this situation. I asked her how much the fee is for the cleaning and what she is asking monetarily. A friend told me she is getting a charge of about $800 which is outrageous to me. Part of me feels like I would be willing to tell my friend to help out with the cleaning as long as it's reasonable, BUT at the same time, if you plan on having an open bar yacht party you should know the risks ociated with that and know that people may throw up and that's a responsibility you should be aware of. It's like throwing a party at your house, or driving your drunk friends home.........are you going to charge people for cleaning? Isn't that a responsiblity that you take on unless people break something I understand. Also, we never signed anything when boarding the boat stating that we are responsible for an outrageous charge if this happened. If we signed something or informed prior than it may have made a difference. I don't really know this birthday person and she was very rude to me the whole time I was on the boat as her guest so I'm also not inclined to be nice and to compensate her. She said my friends should know their limits while she was carried out off the boat. I am just conflicted what to do.......does she have any legal recourse if I say no to paying up?
