My boss is so annoying. help me please. what is wrong with her.?

She is telling everyone ALL about her dads surgery.. she just spent 30 minutes telling every damn detail to the coworker sitting next to me.. Now she is on the phone with another coworker for the past 25 minutes, telling allll the details of the surgery. Also, when she goes on vacation, she comes back and spends a good 40 minutes telling everyone every freakin thing she did.. does she really think that we care to be put through this? Is this behavior what is called narcissistic?
