I am only skeptical however as to why these pushes to end the two-party system seem to be so much more prevalent now that the Democrats are in control and the Republicans are scrambling. We could have saved ourselves a lot of heartache, not to mention money, if such a system had been instituted starting back around 2002 when the Republicans were in control.
