4/5 weeks pregnant is it safe to quit cold turkey?

I just found out almost a week ago that im pregnant is it safe to quit cold turkey or should i ween myself off of them? i have half a cig left and want to quit cold turkey but i dont want to miscarry or cause my baby to go through withdraws. what would be the safest way for baby and i to quit?
